Chocolate chip Cookies an absolute classic! please enjoy ♥️ Ingredients: 1 cup softened unsalted butter 1/2 cup white sugar 1 cup light brown sugar 2 tsp Vanilla extract 1 egg + 1 egg yolk 2 & 1/2 cups flour (use the spoon and level method) 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup of chocolate chips + more for topping In a large bowl, add all your flour, baking soda, and salt and mix. Set aside for later use. In a stand mixer, using your beater attachment, add your softened butter and both sugars (you can also use a hand mixer). Cream the butter and sugar together on medium speed until fully combined. Once combined, keep beating your butter and sugar together, making sure to stop every once in a while to scrape down the bowl. You want to beat your butter and sugar together for at least 8 minutes. Proceed to add your egg and egg yolk and combine, then add your vanilla extract. Then gradually add in your flour mix. When the flour is fully incorporated into the butter mix, add your chocolate chips and fold them in. You don’t want to over mix when adding in the flour. Cover the bowl and let it sit in the fridge for at least 2 hours before baking. I usually leave my cookie dough overnight to cool in the fridge. Once ready to use, preheat your oven to 350°F. Shape your cookie dough into dough balls and place them on a cookie sheet pan. I used a 1/4 cup to help me measure and keep each dough ball even. I highly recommend using a cookie sheet pan! I’ve tested the dough on two different pans, one made for cookies and the other a regular sheet pan. The ones that yielded the best results were the cookie sheet pans. Add more chocolate chips to the tops of each dough ball. Once the oven has preheated, Place the cookie sheet pan in the oven for 12–15 minutes. Remove the cookies once done and allow them to cool for 10-15 minutes. Pair it with your favorite milk and you're done! Enjoy ;) . . . #chocolatechipcookies #cookies
