My perfected sourdough recipe ♥️ #sourdough #sourdoughforbeginners Ingredients: 90g active starter 285g water 400g flour 10g salt - The night before, feed 5g of starter 45g of flour and 45g of water. If the starter looks too liquidy, add more flour until it has the consistency of pancake better. - The next morning, mix active starter with flour until milky. Then add flour until a shaggy dough forms. - Let it rest 30 minutes then add 10g of salt and dimple it in with wet hands. - Let it rest 45 minutes then do a set of stretch and folds. Wait another 45 minutes and repeat. Wait another 45 minutes then do a set of coil folds. If the dough is now able to hold its form more, move on to the next step. - Using a digital thermometer, temp the dough. Refer to the chart in the video, as this will advise you approximately how many hours it should bulk ferment. Bulk fermentation began the minute you mixed your starter with your other ingredients so include this time. - After bulk fermenting, shape your dough on a floured surface then add it to a banneton. - Cold proof in the fridge overnight. - The next morning, preheat a Dutch oven or baking vessel in a 450d oven. Score your dough and add to your baking vessel into the oven with the lid on. After 20 minutes, remove the lid and bake another 20 minutes. - Let rest for 2-3 hours, then slice.

Sourdough doesnt have to be exact! 🍞You have a LOT more wiggle room than you’d think - here’s proof!! I never really measure exactly, but for someone just starting out, here’s the recipe! 1. Mix: * 1 3/4 cups warm water * 1/4 cup active starter 2. Then add honey (measure w your heart!) 3. Stir 4. Add 4 loosely packed cups of bread flour 5. Mix with spoon or whisk until shaggy dough, then finish mixing with your hands until fully incorporated 6. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt & kneed in lightly 7. Let rest for 30 minutes then stretch and fold 8. Repeat step 7 three more times 9. Allow dough to rise for 8-10 hours on counter 10. Shape dough into a round loaf 11. Score (optional) 12. Second rise for 1-2 hours 13. Bake at 425° for 60 minutes 14. Remove loaf from Dutch oven and allow to cool completely before cutting 15. My tried & true sourdough bread recipe ✨🌾🧺🤍 Recipe: - 325g water - 125-130g starter - 500g bread flour - 10g water - 12-15g salt Steps: - Mix starter & water into a bowl with a danish whisk - Add in flour and stir until combined, then mix by hand until fully mixed. Cover & rest 20 mins. - Mix water & salt, then add to dough & mix until combined. Cover and rest 15 min. - Complete 3 sets stretch & folds, 15 minutes apart. - Then complete 2 rounds of coil folds 30 minutes apart. - Cover & rest for bulk fermentation (counter). Wait until the dough doubled in size. Takes about 4-6 hours for me, but will depends on home's temperature! - After dough has doubled, pre shape dough, then final shape your dough into a boule & place into a floured banneton. Place into fridge overnight for 12-18 hours. Bake day: Preheat oven with Dutch oven on 500F for 1 hour. - Take bannetons out of the fridge - Get parchment paper ready and place boule onto the parchment paper. MY TRIED AND TRUE SOURDOUGH LOAF ✨🥐 (with time stamps) 9:00am fed starter *let sit in warm place until it doubles in size 12:00pm mix ingredients 12:30pm add 1 tsp salt. *knead 3-4 minutes cover with damp cloth and let sit for one hour 1:30pm start your stretch and folds. *repeat process 4 times every 30 minutes 2:00pm second stretch and fold 2:30pm third stretch and fold 3:00pm fourth stretch and fold cover with cloth and let bread sit for 2 hours, until its doubled in size. 5:00pm laminate and shape set in banneton and cover. place in fridge for final overnight proof NEXT DAY: 9:00am preheat oven to 500° for 45 minutes-score loaf to desired deisgn 9:45am place bread in heated dutch oven *move quickly to ensure only minimal heat escapes 10:10am remove lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes 10:25am SHES DONE ✨🥐 remove from dutch oven and let loaf cool for a minimum of 2 hours. slice and enjoy!!!!!! tag me if you make it besties. xx #sourdough #sourdoughtok #sourdoughbread #sourdoughrecipe #sourdoughstarter #breadtok #fermentation #naturalfermentation #easyrecipe #breadscoring #breadrecipes #gutfriendlyfoods
